Donate Your Parking Spot For A Day

Businesses, organizations and community groups are partnering with The Salvation Army by providing space for donation trucks to park and receive donated merchandise on a designated day(s).  The Salvation Army will assist in promoting the event, which provides a convenient opportunity for employees, friends and associates to donate gently used clothing, household items and furniture.

The Salvation Army provides the trucks and/or trailers, posters and flyers, personnel and donation receipts.  When the event is concluded, the site is left clean and clear.

Donated goods are resold through The Salvation Army Family Stores and the revenue is used to fund the Adult Rehabilitation Center’s ministry of helping to heal broken lives.

To schedule your donation event, call  612-332-5855.

Our Gulf Coast Chicory blend recognizes those who provided aid following the many destructive hurricanes that have hit the Gulf Coast over the years, from the Great Galveston Hurricane of 1900 with a death toll of 6,000, to the tragic Hurricane Katrina. The Galveston hurricane disaster saw the first of the thousands of relief efforts mobilized by The Salvation Army.

The taste for chicory flavored coffee comes from the Civil War era when coffee was difficult to get in the south and chicory root was used as a substitute. Southerners acquired a taste for it and chicory later became a popular flavor accent in their coffee.

Now you can enjoy a taste of the old south with our Gulf Coast Chicory.

Our Frisco Coffeehouse Blend is in honor of those who provided rescue and assistance for the victims of the San Francisco earthquake of 1906 and the fiery aftermath that lasted four days and nights. This was The Salvation Army's first nationally organized disaster relief effort.

San Francisco is famous for its coffee houses and their vigorous and distinct coffee flavors. We've created a dark roast coffee that captures the full-bodied spirit of the San Francisco coffee scene by combining our most select coffees from Sumatra, Guatemala, Columbia and Brazil.

Brew the authentic taste of the City by the Bay in your own home or office with Frisco Coffeehouse blend.

Our special Kona coffees are a salute to those who cared for the injured and assisted emergency personnel after the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The attack killed 2.403 U.S. service men, but many of the injured were spared because of the untiring dedication of those who provided life-saving rescue and medical care. The Salvation Army has been in the forefront of providing support for U.S. troops since their Doughnut Girls served in the front lines of WWI.

Kona coffee from Hawaii is famous for its renowned flavor. Enjoy the richness of one of the world's great coffees with our Kona Royale blend and our 100% Kona Fancy.

You'll find a warm and friendly "Aloha" in every sip.

Our New York Bravo blend combines the best of our Central American beans with signature coffees from Africa to create a rich, vibrant cup that is yet sweet and smooth enough to sip all day.

Start your morning with a cup of the New Yorker spirit, and remember the firemen, the policemen, The Salvation Army and all who answered the call on. 9-11.

Our Sumatra Blue Batak coffee is in recognition of the thousands of people who worked night and day in the relief efforts following the dangerous Indonesian tsunamis of 2004. There were over one million people displaced, 150,000 deaths and over 25,000 missing in this disaster. Within 6 months, The Salvation Army raised over $40 million in public donations to help the victims on the island of Sumatra and throughout Indonesia.

Sumatra coffee is famous for its low acidity, syrupy body, with hints of earth, nut and fruit. The exacting selection and preparation standards of our Blue Batak transform the best of these characteristics into a cup that is sweet and smooth with a deliciously sweet finish.

Our special Sumatra will take you to another world of coffee enjoyment.
